Mercury renew ISO 9001:2015 certification
We’re delighted to announce that we have recently received renewed certification to ISO 9001. The standard was issued to Mercury by BM Trada, one of the world’s leading independent providers of testing, inspection and certification service. ISO 9001:2015 is the world’s foremost Quality Management System (QMS) used by businesses across the globe.
Shay Lacey, Operations Risk, Compliance, Quality Group Manager said, “The announcement comes as a result of Mercury’s continuing commitment to the delivery of outstanding service using unparalleled Quality Management Systems. The achievement also reflects Mercury’s consistent emphasis on providing first-rate client services and client satisfaction, with our projects consistently delivered safely, on-budget, on-time.”
The international ISO 9001:2015 standard incorporates the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) Cycle and applies a risk-based thinking approach. Risk-based thinking enables organisations to determine the factors that could cause its processes and its quality management system to deviate. It puts in place preventative controls to minimize negative outcomes.
ISO 9001:2015 sets organisations on the path to success through improved customer satisfaction, staff motivation and continuous improvement.
