Mercury to host career fairs in Monaghan and Cork with exciting range of employment opportunities
Following on from two very successful career fairs in Athlone and Dublin, Mercury is reminding the public that we are hosting walk-in interviews in Monaghan and Cork over the next two weeks.
Interested applicants are invited to attend our events on Saturday, January 25th at the Four Seasons Hotel, Monaghan and on Saturday, February 1st at the Imperial Hotel, Cork.
Mercury has a range of Construction Trade & Professional opportunities across a multitude of projects across Ireland and Europe.
Both events start at 10am and are scheduled to run until 3pm.

To speed up the registration process on the day, applicants are encouraged to apply on our careers page before attending either event.
If you are currently employed, or are looking to work as a trade, then please bring the following with you:
- A valid Safe Pass
- A Manual Handling cert
- Trade Card/ Cert of Completion of trade
- Union Card / Details (members number)
- CV
- Any other valid machinery tickets i.e. forklift, excavator, etc.
If you are looking to pursue an electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, you are asked to bring the following:
New Apprentices:
- Leaving Cert/Junior Cert results
- A valid Safe Pass (if applicable)
- Valid Manual Handling cert (if applicable)
- Any other valid machinery tickets i.e. forklift, excavator, etc.
Registered Apprentices:
- Log Book/Exam Results
- Valid Safe Pass
- Valid Manual Handling
Applicants who wish to apply for professional roles are requested to bring a copy of their CV and are asked to register on our careers page for any relevant position.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, apprentices are awarded a Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC) National Craft Certificate. This certificate has national and international recognition and is a compulsory requirement for craftsperson status.
