Mercury joins Business in the Community (BITCI) network
Mercury is pleased to announce that we have today joined the Business in the Community (BITCI) network.
We will now join over 100 of Ireland’s most established companies who are part of the movement for sustainable change.
In a dynamic and changing environment, sustainable businesses are successful businesses.
BITCI act as an adviser in sustainability and corporate social responsibility and provides access to best practice and support businesses with practical management and monitoring systems.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Eoin Vaughan, will on Friday March 13th, sign BITCI’s Low Carbon pledge, meaning that Mercury is committed to reducing our Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse gas emission intensity by 50% by 2030.
