To mark Workplace Wellbeing Day, Mercury staff across Europe are taking part in a number of wellness initiatives.

Many of our team members are partaking in interactive online gym classes and virtual coffee breaks, while some have dressed up as part of formal Friday.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we live and work, while also affecting our day-to-day routines.

We are continuing to explore ways to make the best of our current climate, for Mercury, for our staff and for our clients.

The majority of our European project sites remain open as team members work towards deadlines, while implementing social distancing into their day-to-day working routines.

These projects are reinforced by our support staff in Ireland, most of whom are currently working from home.

Our unique Mercury culture – a dedication to being brave, dynamic and making it happen – is embedded in every member of our global team.

Now more than ever, the wellbeing of our staff is paramount.

We have held a number of wellness initiatives over the past month in an effort to keep spirits high among our teams.

Over the course of the past few weeks we have hosted virtual wellness talks with various academics, professionals and sports stars.

Very few of us would have imagined that Workplace Wellbeing Day would take place under such testing circumstances.

We must remember that social distancing does not mean social disconnection, now more than ever, we are encouraging our staff members to keep in contact with their colleagues and to continue their involvement in various wellness initiatives.
