55 graduates kick off Mercury’s 2020 graduate programme virtually
Mercury’s new graduate class of 2020-2022 has begun their Graduate Programme induction week virtually with the Irish Management Institute (IMI). Mercury’s 55-strong graduate class will receive a week of dedicated classroom training, customised for their unique graduate experience at Mercury.
The week’s training will be led by the IMI’s dedicated lecturers. The welcome session on Monday morning, 7 September 2020, featured a welcoming team talk led by Mercury’s CEO Eoin Vaughan and Group HR Manager Joanne Cluxton and an introduction to the graduate programme by Bronagh Matthews, HR Learning & Development Specialist & Graduate Programme Coordinator.
We believe that our greatest asset is our people. This is the largest intake of new graduates that Mercury has had to date, and our second year partnering with the IMI, after a hugely successful kick-off with our Graduate 2019-2021 class. This is the first time Mercury’s GradIreland Award shortlisted Graduate Programme is taking place online, in order to adapt to the current restrictions of travel, as our graduates working across over 10 locations in Europe, and to best enable social distancing and provide a safe environment for our people. Mercury intends to continue expanding its graduate programme over the next several years.
