Mercury’s next generation of future leaders complete 2020-22 Graduate Programme
Congratulations to our next generation of future leaders, who have successfully completed our 2020-22 Graduate Programme.
A diverse cohort of 39 graduates received their certifications of completion at a celebratory ceremony which took place recently.
Mercury’s Executive Management Team were in attendance, along with Bronagh Matthews, HR Learning & Development Specialist & Graduate Programme Coordinator.
The graduation ceremony was presented by Eoin Vaughan, CEO, who congratulated all graduates, and wished them continued success in their careers with Mercury.
Eoin Vaughan spoke about how Mercury’s graduate programme is helping to shape our future leadership and highlighted how a number of opportunities for progression will arise due to Mercury’s continued growth and expansion. Our CEO also provided graduates with insights into Mercury’s future strategic vision and offered a range of personal learnings from his past experiences. It was outlined to all present that graduating from this programme is just the beginning of their journey with Mercury and we hope to see this group develop their careers further within the company.
The class of 2020-22 commenced our graduate programme in a virtual manner due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and this ceremony and training week represented the first time that this group were able to meet and network in person.
Our graduate programme launched 13 years ago, starting with just five graduates and since then 300+ have completed the programme. The success and evolution of this programme and its participants reflects the ability of the business in creating leaders who envision the future of Mercury.

Our structured training & graduate programme takes 18 months. The development programme is designed to set the demands of the working world as would be experienced by graduates. The courses are delivered by external and internal subject-matter experts in a dedicated learning environment. We support graduates who wish to pursue chartered status in their respective fields and professions. Each graduate is assigned a sponsor from our Executive Management Team for the duration of the graduate programme.
