About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to join our expanding team. In this role you will significantly contribute towards enhancing the skill and the capability of our workforce that align to our strategic business objectives. If you are enthusiastic and passionate about supporting employees and in particular people managers develop their potential into performance, this is the job for you!
The ideal candidate is a seasoned L&D professional who is able to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships through meaningful engagement. You will be methodical and analytical thinker who can assess learning and development needs and have a proven track record of designing, developing, contracting, and implementing impactful and innovative training programs that enable employees to develop their skills and promote a culture of continuous learning.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days per week in our Head Office in Sandyford, Dublin
Key Responsibilities:
Full Circle Design & Delivery
- Design, implement, and deliver comprehensive leadership development programs. This will include in-house module design and where required engaging with external providers.
- Develop and deliver engaging and impactful learning programs that meet the needs of the organisation, with a particular focus on management and leadership development initiatives.
- Use a variety of learning methodologies, including e-learning, blended learning approaches, classroom, and workshops,
- Incorporate coaching elements into leadership training to enhance the development of leadership skills training.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees and managers to support career development and performance improvement.
Stakeholder Management
- Effectively communicate and influence senior stakeholders, ensuring their buy-in and support for L&D initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of L&D programs.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the business and its strategic goals in engagements with key stakeholders.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify skills gaps and customize training solutions that meet specific operational needs.
- Facilitate regular updates and feedback sessions with stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business goals in the Learning & Development space.
- Effectively communicate the purpose and value of L&D initiatives to learning cohorts.
Data-Driven Evaluation
- Leverage data and analytics to identify training needs, measure program effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of leadership programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Measure and demonstrate the impact of L&D initiatives on business performance.
- Assess the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback and performance metrics.
L&D Team Engagement & Purpose
- Work in collaboration with the Learning & Development Manager to develop and implement L&D strategies that directly support business objectives.
- Work with L&D Team colleagues to promote offerings to key stakeholders.
- Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve L&D programs stay abreast of emerging learning technologies and methodologies.
- Lead change initiatives within the L&D function and broader organisation. Build consensus and drive adoption of new learning approaches.
Project Management
- Lead and manage complex, company-wide learning and development (L&D) initiatives.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in learning and development, with a proven track record of developing training programs.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering impactful learning programs.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and assess training effectiveness through various metrics.
- Strong project management abilities, with an ability to work autonomously and drive results.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring employees and managers.
