Mercury Apprentices begin at new dedicated Apprentice Development Centre
On Friday 3rd July, Mercury hosted 8 brand new Mechanical apprentice recruits, 5 new apprentices and 3 already registered, in its new dedicated Apprentice Development Centre in Ballycoolin, Dublin.
The apprentices met with Conor Gray, Mercury’s Apprentice Development Manager, and were briefed on the Mercury Way, the requirements for their project and the college work they’ll receive for the duration of their training. The new recruits were then presented with student packs, polo shirts and jackets.
The induction event was carried out under strict controls and in line with social distancing protocols. The apprentices were seated apart, and briefly stood together for a photograph.
In 2020, Mercury launched its new Apprenticeship Development Centre, a dedicated centre of excellence for Mercury’s apprentices, comprising a state of the art workshop and offices.
