Madrid Data Centre Fitout Project Completed with Zero Accidents
Mercury is delighted to announce that we have completed the handover of a Data Centre project in Madrid, Spain, without recording any accidents or injuries.
The fit-out was completed under challenging conditions, with the project site forced to close for three weeks due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Health and Safety Advisor for this project, Natalia D. Aguado said: “Even through these most challenging times, Mercury’s Spanish team have achieved the handover of this project in Madrid.
“Despite being forced to close for three weeks due to the Pandemic, we managed to deliver this project on time with no injuries or cases of Covid-19 in a region that is amongst the worst affected areas in Europe.
“We learned to adapt to the new normal as a team and I am proud of every single person that was involved in this project, as they demonstrated the importance of safety in challenging conditions.
“I would like to thank to the Mercury family and all subcontractors on site that made days away from our loved ones a little easier and helped us to achieve our goal.”
