Mercury renews Safe-T-Cert and SSIP accreditation highlighting our continued dedication to EHS
We are delighted to announce that Mercury has renewed our Safe-T-Cert and Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) accreditation for 2022.
The Safe-T-Cert audits the health and safety management systems of contractors working within the construction sector across Ireland and the United Kingdom.
We achieved the best possible audit rating and this annual accreditation further highlights our continued success and consistent EHS performance.
This award assists contractors in continuously improving their health and safety management systems through an annual audit process, to ensure that they meet relevant national legislative requirements, basic requirements for competence and training and that the have demonstrated the implementation and operation of a adequate occupational health and safety management system.
Our Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) accreditation was automatically renewed based on our Safe-T-Cert accreditation, with both of these awards valid for three years from December 2021.
Sabrina Loughman, Group EHS Coordinator said: “We would like to congratulate our teams for their outstanding performance during Mercury’s Safe-T-Cert audit which was recently conducted. This is a fantastic achievement for Mercury as this audit is of the highest standard. We strive to build upon this standard as we continue to maintain our best-in-class health and safety record.”
