Mercury showcases semi-conductor and digital delivery expertise
Mercury, Europe’s leading provider of construction solutions, demonstrated its expertise in semi-conductor and digital project delivery at the recent HxGN LIVE Global conference in Las Vegas.
This conference convened key executives from the semi-conductor sector to engage in discussions regarding the future of automated digital project delivery, an area in which Mercury possesses more than 30 years of experience.
Mercury’s team, David Murphy, Senior BIM Specialist, Ciaran McCreary, Advanced Technologies BIM Manager, and Justin Keane, Director of Engineering Support, Offsite Manufacturing & Digital Transformation were pleased to share our learnings and expertise about the rapidly evolving nature of semi-conductor industry. Our representatives delivered a comprehensive talk which highlighted our capabilities and use of digital construction automation in the delivery of advanced technology projects throughout Europe.
This conference emphasised the need for collective adaptation and collaboration between clients and contractors within the semi-conductor industry and beyond, particularly involving the subject of digital project delivery and the innovative software’s that will be used to drive this transformation.
Mercury has utilised several of Hexagon software’s for more than a decade, earning a reputation as a proficient user and advocate for this cutting-edge tool in project delivery, which is acknowledged by key players in the micro-chip processing business. The software’s significance, hailed by experts as the future of the industry, was highlighted through its use in Mercury’s semi-conductor projects, including CAD works, iConstruct, and more.
Our team showcased Mercury’s successful collaborations with global micro-processing manufacturers and our track record of delivering complex MEP services, encompassing process and high purity pipework, HVAC, and mechanical plant systems. Additionally, we emphasised our expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM), early design, and Offsite Fabrication, exemplified by our Offsite Fabrication (OSF) facility equipped with a high-specification cleanroom, showcasing our ability to manufacture crucial parts efficiently and cost-effectively.
Mercury’s commitment to digital project delivery remains unwavering, and our participation at HxGN LIVE Global underscores this. As the semi-conductor industry continues to evolve, so too does Mercury, aligning our digital transformation strategy and setting the bar high for project delivery, and positioning ourselves as an influential figure in shaping the future of semi-conductor construction.
