Reflecting on 2024, a Year of Remarkable Achievements and Going Beyond in 2025 – A message from Eoin Vaughan, CEO
As the year comes to an end, I would like to take a moment to reflect on our incredible journey in 2024 and look ahead at 2025. This year has been filled with remarkable achievements and significant growth, all made possible by our people and partners’ hard work and dedication. Our clients and supply chain are crucial to our past and future successes.
A look back at 2024
As always, safety remains our top priority. We have made continuous improvements to ensure a safe working environment across all of our sites, which is evident in our impressive safety record this year.
Our team has grown to over 2,500 employees, representing over 60 nationalities. This diversity brings unique perspectives and fosters innovation, making us a stronger, more resilient company. Mercury understands that our people are crucial to our growth, and we will continue to invest in their skills and development.
We have increased our operations across Europe, continuously delivering successful results within the Data Centre sector and making great strides to further build our presence and footprint within the Life Sciences and Semiconductor industries. Our €25m investment in the OSM Schönebeck facility will enhance our operational capabilities across Europe, giving clients even greater confidence that we will always deliver.
To further build on our collaborations, we hosted our first supply chain event, „Beyond Partners,“ this year. This event has allowed us to strengthen and deepen our relationships with our valued partners and we are committed to continue building on this momentum.
Looking forward to 2025
We are excited to welcome 1,000 new hires projected between 2025 and 2030. Our aim is to attract the best talent, ensure seamless onboarding, and integrate them into our winning culture. Through 2025 and beyond, we will continue to create opportunities for promotions and career growth. Fostering a supportive and inclusive culture will remain a priority.
As our projects grow in scale and number, a focus on risk management becomes increasingly important. Safety will always be our anchor value, guiding our decisions and actions. We are committed to going further in the coming years and our strategic investments in our people, operations, and supply chain will be key to making this happen.
2024 has been a year of outstanding accomplishments, and with our dedicated team, we are poised for even greater success in 2025. I would like to express my gratitude to our clients and partners for their support and collaboration, and we look forward to working with you in the years ahead.
