Mercury wins hat-trick of awards, including Top Overall Team at Movember Mo Awards 2024
The Mercury team recently attended the Movember Mo Awards 2024 in Dublin, taking the award for Top Overall Team on the night. Over 120 Movember fundraisers, official partners, friends and ambassadors came together in Dublin to celebrate the achievements of the standout supporters who went above and beyond in the most recent campaign to raise awareness and funds for men’s health.
This cause resonates deeply with us. With men 3-4 times more likely to die by suicide and construction largely a male dominated industry, we are committed to raising awareness and working together to break down stigmas in our industry.
Winning an incredible hat-trick of awards, including Top Overall Team, Construction Challenge and Movember Business Club, Mercury, led by EHS Lead Meabh Gleeson showed outstanding commitment, team work and generosity throughout our campaign last year. By coming together on various challenges and events, we achieved the incredible and raised €100,000 in the process.
Speaking on achievements, Meabh said, “Stephen Best, Ben Daly, Alan Garnett and I were asked several times during the night, how did Mercury manage to raise that amount? We all agreed it was easy when you have a team like Mercury.”
This success was built on the collective energy and creativity of Mercury’s employees, and we proved that teamwork and dedication can drive meaningful change.
Mercury is committed to a future where fewer men face these challenges in silence. We’re already looking ahead to next year’s challenge, determined to keep the momentum going and continue making a positive impact on our people and the broader community.
