Scope of Role:

The Client Marketing Executive will play a key role in executing marketing strategies and materials that will position Mercury as the European leader in construction solutions to our clients and prospective partners. You will work closely with our sales and project teams to ensure that our marketing efforts effectively communicate our value proposition and meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise in B2B marketing and client relationship management will be essential in achieving our business objectives.

Mercury’s Marketing and Communications Team is responsible for delivering frequent, high-quality communications across multiple channels, taking a digital-first approach that supports the company’s wider needs by delivering key messages to important stakeholders such as clients, employees, partners, and industry colleagues.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to create premium sales and marketing materials, including brochures, proposals, and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with project teams, understanding their needs and translating their successes to clients.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of sales and marketing materials, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our clients' businesses and industries to tailor core presentations and tenders with marketing messages.
  • Ensure brand guidelines and key strategic messaging is enforced through all marketing materials and activities.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Deliver marketing communications to clients via well-crafted email campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in B2B marketing and our key sectors.
  • Coordinate and execute client events, webinars, and trade shows to promote our services and build strong relationships with potential and existing clients.

 

Essential Criteria for the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the construction or related industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful and compelling marketing materials.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Some experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content.
  • Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights to improve marketing performance.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in client relationship management and a client-focused approach to marketing.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Willingness to travel
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM software is a plus.
  • Graphic design experience a plus.
  • Previous production of case study content
