Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Working alongside Commercial Team to ensure compliance with Internal procedures
- Assist Commercial Team with day-to-day project reporting as required
- Maintaining Register of ‘Authority Matrix’ forms by project
- Submitting and Tracking ‘Authority Matrix’ forms as required
- Review incoming tender enquiries and Track, register, and maintain enquiry list ensuring all incoming PQQ’s, tender submittals and small works enquires are dispatched on time or within a suitable period.
- Maintaining up to date registers via Monday.com, including Tender list and red list.
- Liaise with project teams to confirm project closures for ‘Red List updates’
- Assist in preparation of tender submissions for all forms of fire protection systems, including sprinkler protection, gas suppression, water mist, hose-reels, fire hydrant and dry riser systems.
- Develop and administer quality control provisions with the Estimating, Commercial and Project Controls
- Liaise with Mercury legal on contract conditions, seek amendments and clarity as required.
- Assist in co-ordinating and driving fire protection sales and estimating; looking to secure new business and maintain repeat business.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding in a timely manner with effective and efficient solutions.
- Support Mercury Project Teams to deliver and execute projects the Mercury Way.
- All other duties associated with this role and/or reasonably required by the Company the Company reserves the right to vary the scope and nature of the Employee’s normal duties to consider changes in the Company’s work patterns and practices and the requirements of its business.
Essential Criteria
- Strong Administration experience
- Previous experience in Construction Operations
- PC literate with competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and Organisational skills
- Pride in the quality and presentation of work
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- Administration experience advantage but not essential
- SAP experience advantage but not essential as full training will be given
