As part of Mercury's updated Compensation & Benefits policy, all salaried employees can now avail of a pension scheme and subsidised healthcare.
Our compensation and benefits structure is designed to attract, motivate and retain talented employees who drive the company's success, while supporting our vision and values.
Due to the global nature of our operations, our compensation and benefits policy varies depending on your location.
The pension & healthcare application process for each applicable region is outlined below:

IRELAND - PENSION
Staff based in Ireland must download and complete our employee application form, and our expression of wish form as outlined below.
You must complete all sections that are listed as mandatory.
On completion, both forms must be emailed to pensions@mercuryeng.com as our in-house team must complete the employer section.
No forms should be submitted directly to CERS.
- Please first download the CERS membership booklet before completing any forms. This booklet should be retained for future queries.

- You should then download and complete all mandatory sections of our employee application form.

- Finally, you should complete the following sections of the Expression of Wish form: Death benefits, signature and date.

IRELAND - HEALTHCARE
We are pleased to share that from July 1st 2022, Mercury will be subsidising the cost of employee healthcare plans with our Health Insurance Partner VHI Healthcare.
Our Irish-based employees can now avail of the Company Plan Plus Level 1.3.
Under this scheme, Mercury covers the net cost of your plan, with the employee liable to pay BIK on the gross amount, this is deducted from your salary each month.

UK - PENSION
From September 1st 2022, Mercury will match employee contributions of 5%. The total pension contribution each year will amount to 10% of the value of your pensionable salary, non taxable.
- For exisiting employees, an email will be sent to confirm if you wish to increase the contribution to 5%.
- For new employees, Mercury will match employee contributions of 5%.
ANNUAL LEAVE
Employees in the UK are now entitled to 23 days. As UK annual leave year runs from January to December, one additional day will be given for 2022, bringing 2022 entitlement to 22days. From January 2023, UK employees' annual leave will become 23 days.

- For new employees, you will be automatically enrolled to our pension scheme.
