Jeremy Turk

Group Sustainability Director

Jeremy is Mercury’s Group Sustainability Director. Jeremy joined Mercury in 2024 and brings a wealth of expertise and experience from consulting and policy work to this critical role.

With over 15 years of experience in energy and GHG management, climate mitigation and adaptation, and corporate sustainability strategy, Jeremy joins our business from Vanguard where he was a Senior Climate Specialist focusing on climate risk governance, and was responsible for guiding company perspectives, public communications, and investment policies on climate risk. Prior to joining Vanguard, he was a sustainability consultant, supporting clients across multiple sectors including technology, transportation, construction, utility, manufacturing, and financial services. His extensive background also includes teaching masters-level courses on climate change at the University of Edinburgh.

Jeremy holds a PhD in Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences and an MSc in Carbon Management both from the University of Edinburgh, and a BA in Geosciences from Princeton University. Jeremy's leadership and expertise will be instrumental in driving our sustainability efforts and ensuring we meet our objectives.
