Mercury Engineering, Your vision, our duty.

Following the completion of multiple successful projects for an enterprise data centre client, Mercury was commissioned as the General Contractor for a new flagship 60,000 square feet data centre at Larchenstrasse, Frankfurt. The project commenced in August 2016 with Phase 1 of the project being completed and handed over in March 2017.

The scope of the work included the construction of a brand-new facility on a greenfield site. Mercury led the project and were supported by a local and international supply chain of specialist consultants, vendors and sub-contractors.

Mercury was responsible for employing specialist sub-contractors for piling, groundworks, steelwork, cladding, roofing and more. This method of delivery provided more control and enabled Mercury to deliver the programme under a tight timeframe.

The facility has an IT Capacity of 60,000 square feet, and over six Halls at a power density of 2 kilowatts per square metre.
